MARINA at EMSEA’s 6th Annual Conference, 2-3 October, New Castle (UK)

Thanks to our partner Nausicaa, MARINA is presenting at EMSEA’s 6th annual conference, targeting European marine educators and hosted by Newcastle University, from 2-5 October.

The EMSEA – European Marine Science Educator Association – Annual Conference provides delegates with the opportunity to inspire and to be inspired by sharing innovative ocean literacy work with others, through talks, interactive workshops, and field trips, social and networking events.

The overarching theme of the 2018 conference is the North Sea.

MARINA will be presenting on 2-3 October, during the following sessions.

  • Tuesday 2nd October at 1 pm
    Session 4: Marine Education Talks.
    The topic of our presentation is “MARINA Exhibition, or how to explore the seven seas and make marine research and innovation relevant to all”.

 

  • Wednesday 3rd October at 2 pm
    Session 1: Blue Career Talks 
    The topic of our presentation is “MARINA Project: bringing all actors of Blue Growth together”.

    MARINA will be presenting two papers at the 6th International Conference on Renewable Energy Sources and Energy Efficiency (RESEE2018) follows the five successful editions held in Nicosia (2007, 2009, 2011, 2013, and 2016).

    The aim of the conference is to bring together all the key stakeholders interested in renewable energy sources and energy efficiency to share and discuss advances and developments in this field. It is therefore aimed at assisting researchers, scientists, manufacturers, companies, communities and agencies to keep abreast of new developments in their specialist fields and to join forces in finding alternative energy solutions to current issues.

    The thematic areas of the conference cover all topics of renewable energy as well as energy efficiency in all sectors.

    MARINA contributions will focus on renewable energies from the sea.
