MARINA at European Maritime Day 2018 31 May – 1 June, Burgas. Will you be there?
Will you take part at the EMD 2018?
We are waiting for you to meet us at our MARINA booth.
This is the moment to meet us, to discover who we are and what we do, but most importantly, is the perfect place to discuss about Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI), its dimensions and how you can incorporate RRI in your daily work and life.
Also, our booth is the best place to present you our platform www.marinaproject .eu. On this platform, you can find many existing networks, communities and other platforms on marine issues. This engages researchers, organizations from civil society, citizens, decision makers and industrial stakeholders, being a useful tool where everybody may produce and share information, documents, pictures and other resources for facilitating the cooperation of stakeholders involved in marine issues and the effective integration of the citizens’ ideas.
But we can discuss more at EMD, in Burgas, during the two-day conference.
During EMD, our Romanian partner, Mare Nostrum NGO, will be present at the workshop “Regional cooperation on marine litter” with a presentation about “What Responsible Research and Innovation actions are needed to be taken in order to reduce marine litter in Black Sea region?” whereas our French partner Nausicaa will make a pitch presenantion of the MARINA project at the “Networking coffee – Exhibition, Pitch Stage Research/Blue Growth and Networking Village” on 31st May at 10,30.
Here you can find out more about marine litter at Romanian Black Sea coast and specific actions, identified within our first Mobilisation and Mutual Learning (MML) workshop organized in Romania.
Also, Mare Nostrum Executive Director will be part of the expert panel at the plenary discussion “Big Bang Black Sea? – achievements and challenges for investing in sustainable blue growth and regional cooperation in the Black Sea region”.
It would make us a great pleasure to meet you and discuss more.
MARINA team is waiting for your visit at our booth and at workshops where we are present!
